I am looking to find a male 2010 hand fed Blue Bellied Roller (Coracias cynogaster) a new home.

He is a lovely bird, and is in excellent health, and the species is fairly quiet (They makes a laughing/rattling call). He is quite tame and easy to work with and would make a fine pet for someone who is willing to give her the care he needs. He is feeding excellently on soaked Merric's "campfire cookout" dog food mixed with orlux dry insectivore diet, frozen thawed mice & rat pinks, BOP diet, cut beef heart dusted with reptile calcium/vitamins & live insects (crickets & super worms).

Rollers are not like parrots, finches or doves but are related to Kingfishers. That means they are a bird of prey! Please do not inquire about adopting him if you don't know how to tend to the needs of softbill birds! He can and does eat high quality dogfood as part of their overall diet, but he will also require whole prey like frozen thawed small mice & rat pinks, (easy to get they are sold for reptiles) and insects like crickets & super-worms to stay healthy.

He would be 375.00

I am located in Harrisburg PA. Shipping, if needed would be via Delta, and would be somewhere around 140.00 (includes approved pet carrier, bowls, etc) (I might be able to meet within a reasonable distance of Harrisburg PA, depending on where you are located...)

Email me for more information.
