Buff-banded Rails

1.4.4 Buff-Banded Rails (Rallus phillippensis) - $250. each or $1,500. for all 9 birds. These very active birds are great in aviaries, as they will control mice populations. They spend time up in trees as well as on the ground. Natural plant cover in their exhibit will encourage successful breeding and rearing of chicks. Multiple individuals can live in one exhibit.
