I have decided to offer my entire flock of small softbills/aviary birds up for trade/and or sale.
I might be interested in working out trades/partial trades for this group, or for singles or pairs birds from this group on singles or pairs of Jays, (or tame Jays) Hornbills (Red bills, Von Der Deckens or Trumpeter) possibly birds like Bearded Barbets, or a tame Kookaburra, preferably a male as I already have a hen. Let me know what you have that you are interested in trading...
1 Proven pair of Red Crested Cardinals AKA Brazilian Cardinals - The hen is perfect, the male has a slight kink in the tip of one wing affecting 2 of his primary feathers, It doesn't stop him from doing anything though. (you can see it in the photo - he came to me that way) The pair bred for me last year, and produced a chick, laid eggs this year but nest was disturbed due to construction this year and they did not renest this season. I am asking 725.00 for this pair.
- 1 Pair of Blue Grey Tanagers - 220.00 for the pair
- 1 Male D'arnauds Barbet - 200.00
- 1 Female White Cheeked Bulbul - 200.00
- 1 Male Tambourine Dove, sings all the time - 70.00
All these birds have lived together in the same aviary for about 2 years now, and get along OK, with a pair of Java Rice birds and 4 Male Button Quail, with minimal aggression between any of the birds. If someone would be interested, I would be willing to sell this entire flock of birds for 1,200.00, plus shipping. That would come with the pair of Java Rice birds that have been living with this group for free if they were wanted.
I am willing to split the group up, (but I will not split the pairs up from one another) and I can ship birds via Delta pet first, but all these guys shipped at once would require more then one carrier, as I would not confine the pair of Tanagers or pair of Cardinals with anyone, or put the other birds in the same carrier with them, so it would have to be something like 3 separate carriers unless you send me a carrier with 3 seperateand spacious compartments first you want me to send them to you in via Delta Pet first. Please email me for more info about these birds, or photos of the birds. Serious inquiry about them only.
