Chuckles, the 1 year old blind male Laughing Kookaburra

"Chuckles" is a 1-year-old blind laughing kookaburra. He’s a hand raised, DNA sexed male. We had an avian veterinarian examine him last year and she said he was born blind. This doesn’t hinder him at all. In fact, it makes him an amazing animal ambassador or zoo animal because he doesn’t try to fly away. We’ve used him in educational performances all over the country, but we have too many unique birds and don’t give him the attention he needs. I know you’re wondering if he makes the laughing sound, since he’s blind? Why do you think we named him Chuckles? He loves to hold a mouse in his beak and “laugh.” He eats two or three thawed mice every day. He will take them right out of your hand, or out of his bowl.





Pick up is in Belleville, Michigan. I can ship him at your expense, but I would prefer not to stress him out on an airplane. We are only asking $2200 or best reasonable offer.
