I have a couple of baby Grey-winged Trumpeters (Psophia crepitans) currently available. Never imported in large numbers and seldom bred in captivity. These babies will make the most fantastic pet you've ever had.
I've never had a bird that is so happy to see me or to be in my presence. I first became acquainted with Trumpeters as a kid when I read the chapter on them in Bates and Busanbark's Finches and Soft-billed birds. They certainly describe what it's like to keep one much better than I could ever hope to. As far as I know, there's no one else in the US currently having success with this species.
