Here is another interesting one for your collection.
They were considered sacred in ancient Egypt and were "depicted on the walls of tombs and temples". And the hoopoe is depicted as king of the birds in the ancient Greek comedy The Birds by Aristophanes.
Would be an interesting addition to have and to breed. We can not doing by ourselves. We need more people to try to breed them to help preserve them.
We are taking pre-orders now for our upcoming young adults who were all handfed.
