Hoopoe - an exotic one

Here is another interesting one for your collection.

They were considered sacred in ancient Egypt and were "depicted on the walls of tombs and temples". And the hoopoe is depicted as king of the birds in the ancient Greek comedy The Birds by Aristophanes.

Would be an interesting addition to have and to breed.

They all were handfed.
