6 year old parent raised male. Not aggressive pretty tame. Recall trained. Decent pet or breeder.



Please do your research before even inquiring about this bird. It is NOT a parrot. It cannot talk.

They are known for their laugh-like call. Most movies use their call in jungle scenes as a monkey call.

They are NOT cuddly or emotional like a parrot. They can make good pets but they are more like a reptile than most birds in personality and diet.

They are predatory birds. The largest member of the Kingfisher family. They need to eat at least 1 whole small animal a day like mice rats hamsters lizards bugs such as dubia roaches and super worms, also baby chicks such as chicken quail and finches.



They also require a very large flight cage or aviary. Preferably outdoors. And/or daily flying time around the house if kept in a LARGE cage indoors.
