DNA sexed male African Pied Crow, He will be 4 yrs this spring and ready to pair up and breed (Mature breeding age). He is captive born pulled from the nest at a few weeks old and imprinted from Troy in GA. Good solid breeder or pet/educational bird. I lost his mate last winter which is the one and only reason he is listed f/s. He will jump to the fist and take food from my hand when i come into his flight. He is just learning to talk but overall a quite bird. He is a VERY curious healthy smart beautiful large male pied crow. If you want to breed successful, Import W.C African Crows need lots of room and lots of height and tend to be tricky and sort of a hit or miss to get to produce chicks, On the other hand captive born crows are easy and will give 2-3 clutches per year, I recommended getting only a captive hen for him at least 2 to 8 years old. His flight pen is 10x8x6 with a 10x8x8 barn attached that he is very comfortable housed/breeding in. For the first time he built a large stick nest this summer. He is accumulated to stay outdoors year round (cold weather months inside barn) or housed indoors in a large kings cage. I recommended keeping him in a large square kings cage if you want him as tame as possible, he likes to fly around the home and loves attention. He is trained to stay on top of his cage on the perch unless called to fly to fist for a treat or hang out on the couch and watch some TV. He is not timid and greets me on my arm/shoulder everyday when i go into his enclosure to feed/water. I have owned a combo of 8 African crows and ravens over four years and notice a HUGE difference between males and females as males tend to be more tame and out-going over-all (just my experience) Captive Males are also harder to find then hens and usually more money. I searched every-were two years before finding a captive born chick for my old Imprinted hen.

I'm willing to ship with Continental/United airlines that is $165 with crate. I will take $1250 firm for the crow. Local Pickup in NY is better. Postal Money Orders for Payment or Bank wire transfer.

Great bird for a great price, I need the barn/aviary space to house other animals this winter that's coming up fast, Quick sale/serious buyers only or i will set him up indoors in the next 2 weeks, Thanks 631-974-5119
